Eva Cox, a 58-year-old woman from Lubec, Maine, was killed on the evening of January 8, 2022. The incident occurred at her home on Jim’s Head Road, which she shared with her boyfriend, Paul DeForest. A friend, Joseph Barton from Gilmanton, New Hampshire, who had been staying with the couple, witnessed the event.
