A retired school teacher is found murdered in her home
On the morning of March 18, 1977, Lila Drew, a retired school teacher, was found dead in her home on Route 11 in Masardis, Maine. Her son, Maxwell Drew, discovered her body after going to check on her. Lila had died as a result of trauma inflicted the night before, and her death was quickly ruled a homicide.
