Two men reported missing were found murdered
In August 1997, the remains of Louis Alexander were discovered in a shallow grave in a wooded area near Masardis, Maine. He, along with his associate Joseph Savitch, had been missing since 1994. The two men, both from Massachusetts, were found to have been shot to death. Investigators believed that the pair might have been involved in criminal activities, such as burglaries in Aroostook County, which may have led to their deaths.
