In the quiet woods of Masardis, Maine, a grim discovery was made on August 15, 1997, bringing a close to a three-year mystery. A bear hunter stumbled upon a shallow grave, and inside, lay the remains of Louis Alexander, a 60-year-old White male, and his associate, Joseph Savitch.
