Murdered

On April 21, 2004, in the small town of Masardis, Maine, 57-year-old Michael W. MacDonald was found dead in his home, having been shot, stabbed, and beaten. His son, 25-year-old Michael D. MacDonald, was charged with his murder. The younger MacDonald turned himself in to authorities shortly after the incident.
