On April 10, 2023, in Alfred, Maine, 39-year-old Kristan Crow was found deceased in her home on Waterboro Road, having suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Her husband, James Crow, 40, contacted police dispatchers shortly before 3 p.m., admitting to the shooting and stating he "didn't mean to do it."
