In the quiet expanse of Lewis and Clark County, Montana, the morning of August 26, 2002, was shattered by a tragic event that would forever alter the fabric of a local family. On that day, 14-year-old Swen Paul Swanson and his 10-year-old sister, Louisa Ann Swanson, were shot and killed as they slept in their beds at the family's ranch house just outside of Augusta.
