On May 27, 2007, 24-year-old Tyrel Joseph "T.J." Waldock, a member of the Army National Guard, tragically lost his life due to a gunshot wound in Great Falls, Montana. The incident occurred at his residence at 3208 14th Ave. S.

A memorial service was held in his honor on Friday, June 1, 2007, at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, with arrangements handled by Schnider Funeral Home. He was survived by his wife, Lynn Waldock, and their two children.
