In the quiet woods of Superior, Montana, a grim discovery was made at a rural residence in late May of 2014. The bodies of an elderly couple, 87-year-old Emma Jean Lane and her husband, were found, bringing a tragic end to their long lives together. The circumstances surrounding their deaths prompted an investigation by the Mineral County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Montana Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation.
