On June 1, 2014, Clayton Brunson, 27, was fatally shot in Uptown Pittsburgh at Ficklin’s Bar on Fifth Avenue. The shooting, which took place early in the morning, involved multiple gunshots fired inside the crowded bar, leaving Brunson with a fatal wound to the abdomen. Another man, aged 25, sustained injuries after being shot in the foot. Brunson was transported to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
