On September 6, 2015, in Great Falls, Montana, 26-year-old Cody Steve Bruyere was fatally shot in the face at point-blank range by Branden Conrad Miesmer. The incident occurred at Bruyere's residence, where Miesmer arrived seeking a female acquaintance who was staying there.
