Joe Knarr, a 53-year-old Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game warden, was tragically killed on March 11, 2016, in his Bozeman home. His infant son, Daniel, also lost his life in the incident.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office ruled the deaths a murder-suicide. Evidence indicated that Joe's wife, Jennifer Knarr, shot and killed both Joe and their son before taking her own life.
