In July 2019, a tragic sequence of events unfolded involving 2-year-old Aiden Salcido and his parents, Daniel Salcido and Hannah Janiak, from Medford, Oregon. The family had been reported missing in June after Janiak failed to appear for a jail sentence related to a burglary conviction.
