In the small town of Saint Regis, Montana, a heart-wrenching event unfolded in early February 2021, forever altering the lives of a young family. Four-year-old Brayden Dascher, a Caucasian male, was at the center of this tragedy. On February 6th, the quiet community was shattered by a violent incident that would ultimately claim three lives.

Brayden, along with his 7-year-old brother Ayden, had been shot by their father. The initial shooting left Brayden critically injured, and he was rushed to a hospital for emergency medical care. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Brayden succumbed to his injuries three days later, on February 9, 2021.
The investigation into the shooting revealed a grim reality. Law enforcement officials determined that the incident was a murder-suicide. Brayden's father, after shooting his two young sons, turned the gun on himself, taking his own life at the scene. No arrests were made as the suspect in the deaths of Brayden and Ayden was the father, who died by suicide.
