On December 19, 2021, in Butte, Montana, 42-year-old William George Harris III was fatally shot in his residence at 815 Main Street. The incident occurred around 6:55 p.m. Neighbors had previously expressed concerns about disturbances at Harris's home, with one neighbor reporting a loud party the night before the shooting.
