On a summer day in Joliet, Montana, the life of 62-year-old Laura Ellen Leggate, a White female, came to a tragic end. On June 7, 2024, she was found deceased in what authorities have described as an apparent murder-suicide. The investigation by the Carbon County Sheriff's Office also involves the death of her husband, Jerry Leggate, who died on the same day.
