On the evening of Sunday, April 30, 2023, 58-year-old Gail Gildemeister, a White female, was shot and killed following a domestic dispute with her husband in their RV trailer near Preston, Idaho. Hours before her death, Gail had visited her daughter in Utah and spoken to her on the phone during her drive home.
