On February 19, 2017, in Preston, Idaho, 6-year-old Jessica Spillett was tragically killed in a murder-suicide orchestrated by her father, 37-year-old Tate Lee Spillett. Authorities reported that Tate Spillett fatally shot Jessica, her 7-year-old brother McCoy, and their 15-year-old stepbrother, Corbin Hillaker, while they slept in their beds.
