Do you know who murdered Kevin Jackson? In the late summer afternoon of Thursday, September 1, 2016, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a residential street in Southeast Washington, D.C. When the sounds of the shots faded, 17-year-old Kevin Anthony Jackson II was left lying on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of 16th Street, SE. He had been shot in the head. First responders arrived at the scene around 2:15 p.m. and rushed the young man to a nearby hospital. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
