Olanda Fitz, a 28-year-old from Shaftsbury, Vermont, was found dead on November 11, 2016. Vermont State Troopers responded to a call about a deceased individual in a home in Shaftsbury. Upon arrival, they discovered Fitz's body in the front yard. A second individual, 38-year-old Trevor Gardner of Hoosick Falls, New York, was also found deceased in a nearby truck. Both individuals appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds.
