In the small, rural community of Newport Town, Vermont, just a mile from the Canadian border, the quiet of a Saturday evening was shattered. On October 14, 2023, a 27-year-old Hispanic male named Wilmer Rodriguez, from Hartford, Connecticut, was found dead inside a residence on Farrar Road.
