On a warm summer evening in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, the life of 17-year-old Brandon Robert Smith, a White male, was tragically cut short. On June 25, 2008, Brandon returned to his Robinson Street home with a friend, unaware that danger lurked within. Just after stepping through the front door, an individual who had been hiding inside emerged and fired a single, fatal shot.
