In a quiet Cumberland, Rhode Island neighborhood, the morning of June 22, 2022, was shattered by a tragic event that claimed the life of 42-year-old Courtney Huard, a Caucasian female. Officers responded to a call at approximately 6:40 a.m. at the family's Birchwood Drive home to find both Courtney and her husband, 51-year-old Eric Huard, deceased from gunshot wounds. The couple's three children were discovered in the home, physically unharmed but left to grapple with an unimaginable loss.
