In the small community of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, the life of 24-year-old Marcus B. Antonio was cut short on Saturday, January 12, 2019. That evening, Antonio passed away at the Cheyenne River Health Center from injuries sustained in a shooting. An enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, he was a father to two young sons, Jaxtyn and Ethan Antonio.
