On May 14, 2024, 17-year-old Lenea Brown was fatally shot in the head near Buckboard Park in Casper, Wyoming. The incident occurred shortly after midnight, following a series of harassing text messages from her ex-boyfriend, 16-year-old Eavan Castaner. Despite attempts by friends to intervene, Castaner confronted Brown at the park, leading to the tragic shooting.
