Alan Chase Jennings, a 20-year-old male, was in Honolulu in the early hours of September 8, 2019, when a night out near Ala Moana Center turned fatal. As the mall's late-night crowds thinned and the parking areas grew quieter, an argument flared between groups of men near the section fronting Lucky Strike. What began as words and posturing quickly escalated into a confrontation that left Jennings shot.
