On March 2, 2008, 48-year-old Curtis Pinkney was found fatally shot on the 1300 block of Carraway Boulevard in Birmingham, Alabama. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified Pinkney as the victim, but the cause of death was not released at that time. Sgt. Frank Majors of the Birmingham Police Department confirmed the incident and noted that no arrests had been made.
