On March 15, 2014, Dandrell Jamal “Danny” Harris, a 28-year-old African American male from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot during a party in Autaugaville. The incident occurred when Harris was shot multiple times in the back.
Following the shooting, Treble McCall, a 24-year-old man from Autaugaville, was arrested and charged with murder. In April 2015, McCall pleaded guilty to the charge, admitting to shooting Harris multiple times in the back during the party.
