On May 11, 2014, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Mobile Police responded to the intersection of Pointer and Setter Roads in Mobile, Alabama, following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Zachary Scott Alston in a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
