On March 15, 2016, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Mobile Police responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Butler Street and Warsaw Avenue in the Trinity Gardens neighborhood of Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Carenzo Rogers lying in a vacant lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. Mobile Fire-Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
