On September 23, 2014, a tragic incident occurred at a UPS package-processing facility in Birmingham, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of two supervisors, including 46-year-old Brian Callans. Callans, a native and long-time resident of Birmingham, had dedicated 26 years to UPS, rising to the position of Business Manager. He was known for his commitment to his work and his colleagues.
