On the evening of December 6, 2014, 16-year-old African American female Raven Hamilton was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle in the Roger Williams community of Mobile, Alabama. Raven, a sophomore at Murphy High School, was en route to a restaurant with her friend Tyra Booker and Tyra's brother, Tyrus Booker, who was driving.
