On March 24, 2015, 33-year-old Jodi Deann Fallowfield of Columbiana, Alabama, was fatally shot in an incident involving a financial dispute. Early that morning, Fallowfield and her boyfriend traveled to Adamsville to collect a $10,000 debt owed by 34-year-old Russell Lee Williamson.
