On December 3, 2022, 46-year-old Wendy Johnson Patellaro was fatally shot at the Z Benz Shop, an auto repair business located at 3708 Veterans Memorial Drive in Adamsville, Alabama. Responding to reports of a shooting, Adamsville police officers arrived at the scene and discovered Patellaro unresponsive inside the establishment. She was pronounced dead at 9:44 a.m.
