On a spring day in Shorter, Alabama, the life of 39-year-old Tim Woods, a Black male, was cut short by violence. On March 14, 2016, Woods was found inside a car, having been shot to death. The initial investigation by the Macon County Sheriff's Office revealed that the shooting was not a random act but rather the culmination of a personal dispute.
