On November 3, 2008, at approximately 10:26 pm, 15-year-old Ladonta Longshore was shot and fatally injured in the rear of 1283 Brentwood Road, NE, Washington, D.C. Police officers from the Fifth District responded to reports of gunshots and found Longshore with a gunshot wound to the head. He was immediately transported to the Washington Hospital Center, where he was placed on life support.
