On July 12, 2017, in Gardendale, Alabama, 65-year-old Bonnie Reeves Foshee was tragically killed alongside her sister, 50-year-old Dana Reeves Lever, and her husband, 69-year-old Don Austin Foshee. The assailant was Dana's ex-husband, Kenneth Dion Lever, who ambushed the family as they prepared to leave for Dana's son's Navy boot camp graduation in Chicago.
