In the early hours of a Thursday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of Maurice Antonio Smith, a male known to his friends as 'Mo,' was brought to a violent and abrupt end. On July 23, 2009, at approximately 2:11 a.m., Smith was shot and killed in the rear of 1222 Eaton Road, SE.
