In the summer of 2018, a tragedy unfolded in Montgomery, Alabama, that cut short the life of 41-year-old Cynthia Nicole Hand. On the warm evening of July 10th, violence erupted, and Hand, along with another woman, Erica Allen, was fatally shot. The incident left the community in shock and mourning the loss of two lives.
