On July 10, 2018, in Montgomery, Alabama, a fatal altercation occurred involving Cynthia Hand, 41, and Erica Allen, 29. The incident began as a verbal dispute between the two women, which escalated into violence. During the confrontation, Hand fatally shot Allen. Subsequently, Courtney Morris, 26, identified as Allen's boyfriend, intervened and fatally shot Hand. Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.
