On a spring evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 16-year-old Dezmine Perkins was tragically cut short. On May 1, 2010, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the young male was discovered in front of 535 Edgewood Street, NE, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services responded to the scene, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
