In the winter of 2018, a shooting in Decatur, Alabama, led to the death of 35-year-old Anthony Lewis. On the evening of December 21st, Morgan County 911 received a report of a shooting near the Parkway Place Apartments. At approximately the same time, Decatur Police officers were called to the intersection of Central Parkway and Beltline Road SW for a man who was unconscious in his vehicle.
