On December 21, 2018, Anthony Lewis, a 35-year-old resident of Decatur, Alabama, was fatally shot. The incident occurred during a confrontation where the suspect reportedly followed Lewis and fired into his vehicle. Lewis succumbed to his injuries the following day, December 22, 2018.
