On January 26, 2019, in Prichard, Alabama, three-year-old Damion Little Jr. was tragically killed during a domestic altercation. His father, 22-year-old Damion Little Sr., is accused of firing shots during a dispute with the child's mother, Jaelin Simone Mayhand. The gunfire struck both Mayhand and Damion Jr., who was inside the house at the time. Mayhand survived her injuries, but Damion Jr. succumbed to his wounds shortly after.
