Forty-three-year-old Danielle Marie Michael Hines, a White/Caucasian female, was found deceased in her home on Timber Oak Circle. Danielle, a Certified Public Accountant and Human Resource Manager for Sinclair Broadcast Group, was known for her
intelligence and bright, friendly nature. A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she was a respected professional and a loving mother to her two children, a 16-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter. Friends and neighbors remembered her as a beautiful and awesome mom, a devoted Christian woman whose life revolved around her family.
The events that led to her death unfolded within the walls of her own home. Helena Police and Fire Rescue responded to a domestic incident call around 8 p.m. that Sunday evening. Upon their arrival, they discovered Danielle's body. Further investigation inside the residence revealed the body of her 45-year-old husband, Roland Seaburn Hines. He too had died from a gunshot wound.
Witnesses reported hearing a heated argument between the couple just moments before the fatal shots were fired. The investigation concluded that Roland Hines shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide.
