Tremaine Markell Hutchinson, a 27-year-old African American male from Phenix City, Alabama, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2019. The incident occurred in the late afternoon at approximately 4:27 p.m. when Phenix City Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 5th Street South following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Hutchinson had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Russell County Coroner later confirmed that Hutchinson succumbed to his injuries at 6:46 p.m.
