On January 30, 2020, in Mobile, Alabama, two-year-old Corey Davis Jr. tragically lost his life after accidentally shooting himself with a loaded handgun he discovered in a motel room at the Red Roof Inn on I-65 near Dauphin Street. The child was in the care of his mother, 29-year-old Dynesha Harris, and her friend, Tony Fowler, at the time of the incident.
