On April 18, 2020, 17-year-old Brian Daniels was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred during a mid-afternoon exchange of gunfire. Authorities arrested two individuals at the scene: 21-year-old Rodrequis Managan and 19-year-old Jacques Simmons, both residents of Montgomery. Each was charged with one count of murder in connection with Daniels' death.
