On May 15, 2020, in Coden, Alabama, 25-year-old Nhat Tran was fatally shot in a tragic incident that also claimed the life of 31-year-old Kendall Sprinkle. The suspect, 31-year-old Shane Marceaux of Bayou La Batre, was arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder in connection with their deaths.
