Death by Force

In the late morning of a November Saturday in Washington, D.C., a young man's life was cut short by gunfire. Joseph Jerome Mickens, a 22-year-old male, was in the 700 block of 19th Street, NE, on November 26, 2011, when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 10:18 a.m. near an alley.
