In a tragic turn of events stemming from a domestic dispute, Richard Charles Cook Jr., a 40-year-old male, was fatally shot on Friday, September 24, 2021, in Phenix City, Alabama. The incident, which unfolded on U.S. Highway 80, also claimed the lives of 35-year-old Jessica Martin and her unborn child in what authorities have described as a triple murder and suicide.
