On November 5, 2021, 32-year-old Jana Miller Chatman was found deceased near a crashed vehicle in a ditch on Dixie Dale Road in Albertville, Alabama. Responding officers discovered her body lying outside the vehicle, with multiple shell casings present at the scene, indicating she had been fatally shot.
