On April 10, 2022, in Clanton, Alabama, 38-year-old Dante Gervaise Milliner was fatally shot following an argument that escalated on First Avenue North. Responding to reports of gunfire, Clanton police and Chilton County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene to find Milliner lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the face.
